Growing up in Brooklyn, I have been exposed to so many fashion trends mixed with unique and personal styles. Whether it be in school, on the subway or simply walking the streets, I've always been inspired. The ability to display one's personality and or individuality through fabrics and garments are the best forms of expression, in my opinion.

This quote is very much dear to my heart. My grandmother used to say this to me all the time. For me, it serves as a simple reminder of how beautiful life is and it's all about what you make of it. I enjoy seeing life in its simplest form and this outlook resonates with my take on fashion. There is beauty in simplicity.
